LM 3100 Crusher for Agri-food Laboratory
Practical and fast sample preparation
Perten instruments offers two types of laboratory mills: hammer mills and disk mills.
Advantages
- Tests Falling Numbers and Glutomic
- Sample Homogeneity
- Rugged Construction
- Suitable for grains, oilseeds and others
The method of preparation of the samples depends on the requirements for the analysis to be carried out. This is the reason why it is impotant to choose the right preparation for the analysis in question.
The LM 3100 grinds grain, pellets, oilseeds, animal feed and fodder. It is suitable for grinding for Falling Number, Glutomatic, Kjeldahl, etc. The Laboratory Mill 3100 is a hammer crusher mounted in a soundproof housing. An air inlet valve regulates the supply of grain to the grinding chamber. High-speed steel hammers reduce particles to fine grind that passes through a grid. The standard grid with holes of 0.8mm diameter, is used for Falling Number, Gluomatic and Near Infrared systems. 0.5 to 2.0 mm grids are also available. The fine and homogeneous grind is separated from the air in a cyclone and is collected in a removable bowl made of stainless steel. The principle of the cyclone, making the grinder practically self-cleaning, increases the analytical cadence, accuracy and efficiency of the laboratory.
- Rugged metal construction
- Soundproof housing
