Alpha/ Beta Counters

The Alpha and Beta metering solutions proposed by HTDS can be divided into three categories: Automatic Mono-Detector Counter: These counters are ideal when a large number of samples have to be tested with measurement times that can be very short (2-3 minutes for smear and air filter measurements) or longer for tests Environment Issues (30-60 minutes). They are totally suited for routine measurements. Manual Mono-Detector Counter: These counters are intended for laboratories for which counting is an ancillary activity or at low flows (counting time 30-60 minutes), especially for on-site measurements. These counters are the most economical. Manual Multi-Detector Counter: These counters are used for applications with a large number of samples, a need for high sensitivity and low background noise. Each independent detector has an ultra-low background noise and a high counting efficiency.
